Who we are

Optio Accountants is a suburban based accountancy firm and registered tax agent providing both personal and business taxation and accounting services in Brisbane QLD and surrounding areas.

The firm was the result of a merge of clients from Heitax and Chesterfield Accountants and formed in July 2017 to continue to provide accounting and taxation services.

We aim to provide services and practical advice at a realistic cost. For individuals, it may mean a straightforward tax return is completed quickly at the base cost for tax returns. For investors, your return will include checks to ensure all investment income is correctly reported and verified. For business operators, we aim to provide sound and practical advice on a timely basis. The team at Optio Accountants are well aware of the need to provide cost-effective solutions and will tailor a solution to suit your needs. Our fees are based on the services provided and our policy is bill on completion of the work, and we expect payment of our invoice prior to lodgement of your returns with the Australian Tax Office.

Optio Accountants has a diverse range of clients and has helped many small businesses grow and achieve success over the years. It is our aim to continue to provide friendly professional accounting and taxation services to our clients with the emphasis on building a strong relationship based on trust and understanding. Even though we are not financial planners, we have access to fully qualified financial advisors to meet your financial planning needs that are outside of our range of services. We chose to concentrate on your accounting and taxation needs and work with experienced financial planners who will provide you with independent advice. 

Our office is conveniently located at Tarragindi QLD with convenient off-street parking, and we are just ten minutes south of Brisbane CBD. However, most clients have now moved to online services, and we use a range of digital options.
